google-perftools software package provides command line utilities to analyze the performance of C++ programs, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install google-perftools
google-perftools is installed in your system.
Make ensure the google-perftools package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep google-perftools *
You will get with google-perftools package name, version, architecture and description in a table
